Queen Elizabeth I had such a passion for pearls that it is said she established an artificial pearl industry just so she could adorn all her garments with the beautiful gems. Today, however, we’re lucky that pearl farmers can produce such beautiful real pearls like those shown here.
This pearl necklace features a complementary mix of pearls of different sizes, shapes and colours. Alternating sections of peach and white 4-4.5mm freshwater pearls highlight the larger 8-8.5mm flat white pearls in this necklace, making it contemporary while maintaining the timeless quality inherent to pearls.
The 36’’ pearl necklace can either be worn long, or doubled up to give a two-row effect, as shown here.
Available with either gold plated or rhodium plated sterling silver ball clasps.
