Long White Coin Pearl Necklace
9-10mm, side-drilled, white coin-shaped freshwater pearls.
This fun and flirty pearl necklace is made with lovely, coin-shaped freshwater pearls. These pearls look this way because the mollusc they were grown in was nucleated with a disc-shaped piece of Mother-of-Pearl shell. They were then left to grow for a relatively short amount of time (only a couple years!) to keep their wonderful shape. This type of nucleation also gives the pearls the same iridescent waves of the Mother-of-Pearl shell, which make this necklace look really great.
This 36” pearl necklace is available with either a rhodium plated or gold plated sterling silver ball clasp.
