Jersey Pearl Delivery Policy

We aim to despatch all internet orders within three working days of the order being placed*, in most cases the orders will be despatched on the same day. We’ll be in touch on the day of the order, or the next working day, if for any reason your order will take longer than this to dispatch. If you would like to ensure that your package is sent urgently then please don’t hesitate to give us a call on 020 3176 0943.

We send our packages using Jersey Post Special Delivery which takes a maximum of three days to the UK and Ireland, but often arrives within one or two days. Returns

Jersey Pearl operates an 'If you don’t like, send it back’ policy.

This means that you can return your jewellery for whatever reason you may have. A Return Authorisation (RA) number must be requested from Jersey Pearl within 7 days of delivery. Postage for returns is free of charge within the UK and oversees.

RA numbers can be obtained by emailing us at returns@jerseypearl.com.  Once you have received your RA number, please take care to follow the instructions emailed to you and detailed below. Please note that unidentified returns/exchanges may be returned to the sender.

We request that all goods being returned from within the UK are returned within 7 days of issuing your RA number.
International returns should be shipped within 7 days of issuing your RA number. You are not able to return items which have been worn or have had the security tag removed.

Returns received outside the above time frames are accepted at the discretion of Jersey Pearl and can only be refunded as a merchandise credit. Please also note that our earrings are non-returnable.

Jersey Pearl will not accept returns for any items that have been worn and tags removed. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received with no tags, customer should notify us (by phone or email) on the same day if they wish to return.

We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase thoroughly upon delivery before removing any attached tags and before disposing of any original packaging.

In the event of any failure to return any goods to us within the stipulated time limits, even though validly cancelled, we shall have the right to charge any costs of recovery of the goods.

Please be aware that international customs duties and sales taxes are NOT refunded for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

How to proceed if you would like to return your goods from the UK

  1. In order to facilitate the return of your items you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us at returns@jerseypearl.com or calling us 01534 862137 within 7 days of receiving your order.
  2. All returns for any particular order need to be returned in one shipment. Any subsequent returns from the same order may incur additional shipping charges to you.
  3. All items must be attached with the security tag intact, not be worn and in their original condition.
  4. Please complete the Returns Form and enclose with the item(s) to be returned.
  5. Please place items in the original packaging and ensure the outer box is completely sealed.
  6. We request that returns are shipped through Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please note that we do not accept liability for returned goods if you do not return them to us via Royal Mail Special Delivery. You should take your item for return to a Post Office for return by Royal Mail Special Delivery within 7 days of receiving the RA number. The return address and Licence number is stated on the pre-printed labels supplied with your goods. Failure to obtain an RA or to return goods other than via Royal Mail Special Delivery does not affect your statutory rights.
  7. To ensure that you are not charged for returning your item please fasten the two labels provided to the front of the parcel: 1) Royal Mail Special Delivery label; 2) Returns Address Label which displays our returns address. If you do not have a Returns Address Label please contact our customer service team on 01534 862137.

How to proceed if you wish to return faulty goods

  1. In order to facilitate the return of faulty items you must obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number by emailing us at returns@jerseypearl.com and follow the standard returns process as detailed above.
  2. Faulty items will only be accepted if the goods are delivered to the customer damaged or there is a subsequent manufacturing fault within a period of 6 months after delivery. All items returned as faulty will be inspected and any damage deemed to subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
  3. Where possible, items may be repaired on request but only where such items are deemed faulty and repairable. Repairs do not come with any guarantees.
  4. It may be possible for us to repair items which have suffered wear and tear. There will be a charge for this service which is to cover the cost of shipping and any other costs incurred.

Receiving a refund

Refunds to you will be made within 30 days of the date of cancellation notice. All undamaged, correctly returned products will be credited to the original purchaser's credit card including sales taxes for all EU country shipments excluding shipping charges. As previously stated, international customs duties and sales taxes are non- refundable for shipments outside the European Community (EU).

Alternatively, you can request a Jersey Pearl merchandise credit that can be used against future purchase at jerseypearl.com.

Gift Returns

If you have received an item from Jersey Pearl as a gift you can return it for an exchange or a credit note within the parameters outlined in this Returns Policy. Please call us on 01534 862137 to arrange this.

Exchange:
You will be charged for any difference in cost and any additional shipping, taxes and import duties.

Credit note:
Once issued, credit notes are valid for 6 months.

Returns Policy for items on sale - Same policy as above

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange your purchase for an alternative item please contact us to let us know by also emailing us at returns@jerseypearl.com, or contact one of our product experts us by phone for advice on a more suitable item on: 01534 862137
Alternatively, to secure your chosen exchange you can make your purchase by phone or online and we will refund your original item when it is returned to us.

Exchange items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received and undergone a quality control check.

Exchanges received outside of the above stated timescales are also subject to product availability and the customer will incur any shipping costs for such exchanges. Any further returns of exchanged items outside the stated timescales will again be at the customers cost for shipping and refunded only as a merchandise credit.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998).

We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.

We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.

We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us or from another trader in the future. The type of information we will collect about you includes:

  2. address
  3. phone number
  4. email address
  5. credit/debit card details

We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.

The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings.
