Walk to St Ouen Beach
This truly stunning beach across the road from us is a must-visit if you head to the west of the island. The rockpools are a firm favourite at low tide for kids and failing that it’s the perfect stretch of sand for long walks, beach cricket, a spot of frisbee or just enjoying some family time all together.
Historical Sites
Visit Ancient Ruins
Throughout the island, you’ll find some well-preserved prehistoric sites, dolmens and burial mounds. Not far from us, you can walk up to ‘Grantez’ to the Dolmen de Géonnais, a site from 4000 BC, (older than the Pyramids!) which is a passage grave with an unusual rectangular chamber.

ST OUEN’S POND
Try and spot a beautiful Western Marsh Harrier at St Ouen’s Pond – in fact, this lake is excellent for wildlife spotting in general with over 200 types of birds, small mammals and green lizards! There are also two hides to use within the reserve.
MILITARY MUSEUM
A short walk from us and located in a real German military bunker is the Channel Island Military Museum, a quirky museum that brings to life what it would have been like to live in Jersey during the war. A real eye-opening experience. Open April – October.
